Strong gusts of wind caused scattered power outages across Green County on Sunday.

PSO Electric Company representative Stan Whiteford told FOX23 that, at one point, there were 350 power outages across the city. Whiteford said that every area of town suffered wind related damage which led to the power outages. Surrounding communities like Vinita and Grove also reported outages.

Whiteford told FOX23 that there were about 50 customers in Owasso along N 115th E. Ave that were without power on Sunday.

Crews anticipate that restoration times will be few a hours per outage. Whiteford said that they don't anticipate any long term outages and power should be completely restored by Sunday evening if the wind calms down.

FOX23 has crews working to find out more information on the outages. There will be a live report on FOX23 news at 9 p.m.
