An Oklahoma state senator wants to create a medical marijuana program in the state.
Constance Johnson has filed two bills on the topic. One bill would make it legal for people with debilitating medical conditions to use pot with approval from their doctor. The other bill would reduce penalties for possession of small amounts of marijuana.
Oklahoma’s legislative session begins on February 4th.
