The Tulsa Police Department says a resident of Regency Point Apartments was hanging out and drinking with two friends outside his apartment when a second group of three people approached his group of friends and started an altercation.
A fight broke out and that's when the resident of the apartment went inside and grabbed a knife. The resident then came back out and stabbed a man from the second group three times.
The man was stabbed in the leg, chest and neck. He was transported by ambulance with non-life-threatening injuries. The other members of the second group, one male and one female, fled the scene and have not been found.
The resident living at the apartment and his group of friends also took off after the stabbing.
No charges have been filed in this case.
Police are investigating the connection between these two groups.
