The Tulsa fire department responded to a house fire early Friday morning they say was caused by a lightning strike.

Crews responded to the home in the 7000 block of east 89th Street, and found flames coming from the roof.

Two adults and two children were inside at the time, they say the lightning woke them up as it shook the house. They were able to get out okay.

Crews are still working to put out hot spots in the house.
