Tulsa firefighters are battling a blaze that is believed to be arson at a South Tulsa restaurant.

The Tulsa Fire Department says investigators are on the scene of a fire at the Silver Flame Restaurant at 61st and Sheridan where there is evidence of a hate crime. If you have any information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect(s) related to the arson you are asked to call the anonymous number at (918) 596-ARSN or you can contact the Tulsa Fire Department investigations division at (918) 706-8327.

Fireghters believe the fire was set on a paper trail that led to the back door of the steakhouse.

During the inspection of the building they also found a note written in spray paint that read, “a Lover makes a liar”. Next to the note investigators say there was Swastika drawn with spray paint on the building.

Investigators believe the tag was done in the last 24-hours. Investigators believe the arsonist(s) spent a lot of time inside the restaurant and the fire did not damage a lot of the evidence.

Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms agents will begin collecting more evidence from the restaurant Tuesday morning.
