FOX23's been following the winter weather with team coverage.
We went to Bartlesville and found the snowfall didn't keep people indoors.
We've been talking to drivers and families in about the road conditions after Monday afternoon's snowfall.
We saw many people on the roads and highways.
Drivers say it wasn't that bad but it did have its problem areas.
FOX23 spoke with Jason Yocum, who drove from Kansas to Bartlesville.
"I just went over to an ATM machine and did a little bit of spinning in the parking lot. But on the way here from Wichita, the roads were fine and clear," Yocum told FOX23.
Julie Drake tells FOX23 she too experienced some spinning.
She says you have to be both a defensive and offensive driver on these roads.
"You got to watch everyone around you and it's kind of scary. Because when we spun out, we were going really slowly; we just had no control. We just kind of spun in a circle by the mall," Drake said.
Drivers say they are optimistic about the roads.
“If it doesn't snow anymore I think we'll do alright,” said Yocum.
Drivers also told FOX23 they hope everyone else is careful so this is a happy and safe Christmas holiday.
