Tulsa police and Tulsa County deputies were called to the area of 31st and Memorial on a disturbance call because a large group of about 100 people was gathered. Police were monitoring the area when shots were fired and two victims were hit.
The first victim was a 21-year-old man who was shot in the arm and then left the crime scene. He later called EMSA to pick him up at 6000 E. 25th Place. There is no word on whether he was transported to a local hospital.
The second victim was a 17-year-old male who was shot in his buttocks. He was transported to a local hospital.
A few hours later, investigators received a call from a residence at 36th Street and Peoria. A black male told investigators he'd been shot at 31st and Memorial and needed an ambulance. EMSA transported him to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Police aren't sure if he was injured in the same shooting that injured the other two victims or in a separate one.
No description of the shooter has been released.
