Senate votes to renew Violence Against Women Act

In a solid show of bipartisanship, the Senate has voted to renew the two-decade-old Violence Against Women Act with new provisions to ensure that gays and lesbians, immigrants and Native American women have equal access to the act's anti-domestic violence programs.

About time!!! It should never be a political debate! Violence is violence domestic or otherwise.

22 Republican senators did not vote for it. And it may not pass the House. The Republicans are going to spend another 4 years doing everything they can to stop any progress of any kind in our country. They should all be impeached.
