The Senate has blocked legislation that would have established a $1 billion jobs program putting veterans back to work tending to the country's federal lands and bolstering local police and fire departments.

War veterans shouldn't have to work...they should be treated as noblemen,they have put themselves in harms way for our freedoms and should be held in high esteem not lowered to begging for work and treated like trash.It's our turn to sacrifice for them,put them to work picking up trash in parks ...horsesh*t.
