Semi hits I-44 bridge, lanes back open

All lanes of eastbound I-44 at Union are back open after being closed for nearly seven hours after a semi rolled and hit a bridge in west Tulsa.

It happened around 8 o'clock Wednesday morning.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol closed both lanes of the highway for a short time, but were get the outside lane open within 20 minutes.

The road was completely cleared and open shortly before 3 p.m.

Oklahoma Department of Transportation sent engineers to the scene to check on the Union bridge.  They tell FOX23, the bridge was not damaged.
