The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said both of the two inmates that escaped from Wagoner County Jail have been re-captured.

OHP said Larry Cotton  was taken into custody on Tuesday morning.  Mickey Staggs was taken into custody just before noon on Tuesday.

Cotton is in jail for possession of stolen property and drug charges. Staggs is in jail for eluding police and possession of a fire arm after conviction.

These two men assaulted a jail guard, took him hostage and they released him after they stole his keys and got out of the facility.
