Search for missing boater in Grand Lake

The Grand River Dam Authority Police Department is searching for a missing boater in Grand Lake.

GRDA officials say 40-year old Michael Shane Chapman has been missing since Sunday. His boat was found by GRDA officers around on Monday afternoon in the Sailboat Bridge area of Grand Lake.

The weather caused some delays, but GRDA officers have been on the water since daylight Tuesday morning, searching an area of Grand Lake ranging from west of Sailboat Bridge to the East Bay area.
Officers are using boats, as well as GRDA helicopters to conduct the search.
