A commission on school security will submit recommendations to state lawmakers on Tuesday afternoon.
The 22 member panel, led by Lieutenant Governor Todd Lamb, worked for six weeks to come up with new measures to keep Oklahoma students safe. Proposals include more mental health treatment for troubled students, mandatory bully training for teachers and the creation of a School Security Institute.
The presentation of the final list will take place at the State Capitol on Tuesday afternoon.
