Sperry, OK- Some parents believe there's a conspiracy among some Sperry school board members to fire the Superintendent of Schools and re-instate the Sperry High School Principal who's under investigation after a letter surfaced a couple of weeks ago that alleges him of lurking around the boy's locker room, making students feel uncomfortable.
The Sperry Schools Superintendent says she'll make the recommendation to not renew Tim Weaver's contract, which expires next month.
At Monday's School Board Meeting, after going into more than an hour-long executive session, board members decided to hold off on any vote on the Superintendent's contract.
Dr. Rayma Harchar is nearing the end of her first year out of a three year contract with the Sperry Schools District.
Some parents say this could be a retaliation effort on the part of some school board members, who according to them, are in tight with Weaver, who's on personal leave pending the results from the Tulsa County Sheriff's Office investigation.
According to some concerned citizens, the school board has been evaluating Dr. Harcher since last month and that's why they put the topic of discussion up for Monday night's regularly scheduled meeting.
Meanwhile, the investigation continues into the allegations made against Weaver. A detective working on the case with the Sheriff's Office says they're in the process of interviewing witnesses.
