STILLWATER, Okla. - Oklahoma State University OSU police conducted initial sweep of the multimodal facility and Monroe parking garage after a threat was called in.

Nothing suspicious found. Oklahoma Highway Patrol Bomb Squad conducted a secondary search and the facility and parking garage are now open and operating as normal.

The alert was issued at 10 a.m. on Thursday. University officials said the threat was called in by a woman from a phone number with an Oklahoma area code around 8:45 a.m. They said crews responded within 1 minute and conducted a sweep of the area.

Here is the alert sent out:

CAMPUS ALERT: 10:00 a.m. February 13, 2014 - The OSU Multimodal is being evacuated as a precautionary measure. During this time the public is being asked to stay away from both the Multimodal and Monroe street parking garage.

Police and fire are on the scene and investigating a possible threat at the facilities at Hall of Fame and Monroe.

The multimodal is the terminal where buses transport people to and from campus.

Another update on the school's Facebook page shows buses are running as close to schedule as possible. Officials set up a temporary bus terminal is set up between Hall of Fame and Scott. They're also letting students with valid parking permits park in any student lot. Faculty and staff with a valid parking permit can park in any faculty or staff lot.

Officials allowed students to get their cars from the parking garages after the initial search was conducted. Students were escorted to their cars. The Chief Public Safety officer for OSU said they did not cancel classes because the threat was so specific and isolated.
