A scavenger hunt was held in the Blue Dome district on Saturday for a very special purpose.

"Treasure Your Chest" was an educational and fun event held to make a difference in the fight against breast cancer.

FOX23 Charity Spotlight was a proud partner with Susan G. Komen of Tulsa to help raise money to get one step closer to a cure.

The event helped to raise funds for cancer research and raise awareness about the topic. Teams then visited various downtown locations to answer breast health questions.

"It's a fun way to drive home the messages that we all need to know," said Executive Director of Susan G. Komen for the Cure Tulsa Christy Southard.

Organizers are still working to figure out how much money was raised. The estimate about 150 people participated in the event.
