Two teenage girls were thrown 30 feet into the air after crashing an ATV near Sand Springs Monday night.
The passenger on the ATV, Megan Holloway, was carried away by helicopter to Saint Francis hospital in Tulsa. She's in serious condition.
A neighbor described the crash to FOX23.
"I'm walking down the road I hear a loud noise and I turn around it's a four-wheeler wide open and it's a motorcycle behind them and as soon as they got past me they started racing," said Dan Logan.
He lives right down the corner from where the accident took place, so does another neighbor we met, Mike Halley. His daughter goes to school with the girls.
"We heard the sirens and then my wife came home and said she'd seen the four-wheeler hit the ditch and bodies flew," said Halley.
FOX23 went by the home where the driver of the ATV, Sara Conner, is staying with her aunt. She spoke to FOX23's Farron Salley off camera.
She said she couldn't remember anything that happened Monday night.
One neighbor said Megan Holloway's mom posted updates about her daughter's condition on Facebook, but her page is private.
