A Mayes County man, known as Safari Joe, was found not guilty on charges of child sex abuse.

Joe Estes was charged with rape and lewd molestation for allegations dating back to 2005. Estes met his alleged accusers while he was running Safari Joe's Animal Sanctuary in Adair.

He turned himself in to police when the allegations surfaced last August. Estes still faces another charge of rape in a separate case.
