Runners kickoff weekend in Fleet Feet race

Runners in Tulsa kicked off the weekend by running in a Fleet Feet race.

Runners had four different race options to choose from: a 5k, a 10k, a 25k or a 50k

The midtown River Parks hosted the event.

Raj Patel won first in the 50k race, finishing after approximately four hours of running.

Camille Herron was the winner of the 25k, finishing in 1 hour, 35 minutes.

Herron surprised everyone with her quickness. She also claimed the unofficial title of state record breaker.
