CHICAGO (AP) - Voters in Illinois are being greeted by some unusually warm weather for March, as they choose among the
Republican presidential candidates in today's primary.

Mitt Romney has an election night event planned in a Chicago suburb, while Rick Santorum will watch the Illinois results at a campaign party in his home state of Pennsylvania.

Polls had Romney and Santorum in a statistical tie a week ago, and now Romney's popularity in Illinois is surging.
