People would really hate me...when they get tired of their cats they turn them loose in the country and when I see them I shoot them, they'll wipe out a whole covey of quail or baby rabbits and all types of birds just to be killing something and not eat anything they kill, only thing I like about coyotes they eat cats, but they are dangerous to small children and many have rabies

We don't have to know his personality to know that what he did was wrong and showed a lack of respect for others.

AshMadi..... Karma for ruining part of someone's sod farm and terrorizing an animal. Karma for endangering his passenger. And sure, as though you actually know it's the same coyote. It's not the coyote's fault they became the top predator because humans enabled them to be through various routes, including eradicating the coyote's natural enemies. You should look up studies on mesopredators and how the loss of a major predator places the mesopredators in control.....coyotes by the way are a mesopredator as are raccoons. Predators are never useless, but sometimes stupid teenagers can be, especially when they don't learn from their mistakes and aren't held accountable for their wrongs against others. I don't hope for serious injury or death for your friend, but I do hope he is held accountable by the law for his actions. There is also a difference between making sure a coyote dies as quickly as possible, and terrorizing it with a car and trying to run it over which may only injure it and leave it to die slowly... Yes, I eat meat, and I buy my meat from local farmers who know how not to screw up the land around them and who respect nature and wild animals. If they absolutely must put down a wild animal causing losses, they do it as humanely as possible and sure as hell don't treat it like a fun game. Sure, I pay more for it, but it's well worth supporting those farmers who teach their children to live with the land, not against it. By the way, I hunt and I also fish, as does my father, brother, and most of my cousins and uncles (I'd be the only female hunter in the family). Yes, we enjoy it, but we aren't wasteful, and we make sure we cause as little terror, and as clean a kill as possible when we hunt. We don't try to run over animals with a truck. Your arrogance and ignorance is sad and embarrassing; embarrassing that I must call you human.

goat roper? ORIGINAL. kharma? for what sir? almost losing his life? GET OVER YOURSELF. but it's okay.. that coyote got caught in a trap not even a mile away (: coyotes are better left dead. its sick that some of you think my bestfriends life is less important than a usless preditor. my family owns a ranch in Texas, and they come down here specificly to coyote hunt? so what's everyone opinion on that? ha! maybe you dumb CITY SLICKERS need to understand that you eat beef? chicken? pork? any meat? hmm, coyotes have to eat to, so they kill the livestock, including calves, piglets, grown ass animals too! they endangered our way to make money. i have a video of us coyote hunting? wanna see it? it's pretty comical. hey, i even made commentary on it while i was in our feed truck. gotta love the haters.

HeatherP, if he was so respectful, why did he drive onto land that was not his? Did he have no respect for others? What about the life of his passenger? Did he not respect that? People hunt, people protect their homes/livestock/etc. from wild animals...but that is done out of necessity and should not be done for fun. I cannot see any valid reason to try and run a coyote over for the fun of it. What he did exemplifies a lack of respect for other people and the world around him.

Well you don't hear this in the news every day. It just shows most parents teach their children to act more responsibly. I'm sure his parents would never do anything like this. They probably purchased the video game that he traded for the redneck version of grand death auto the Co¥ote Ugh £€€ trails.
