TULSA,OK-- Ron Luce, co-founder of Teen Mania, a Christian Youth ministry, drove four hours from Texas to celebrate the life of Dr. Oral Roberts.
Luce, an ORU alumnus, was inspired by Dr. Roberts and developed a passion for mission work geared to youth.
"I started reaching out to do teen ministry, while I was a student there," Luce said. "Seeing what Oral Roberts did all around the world, in stadiums full of people, inspired me."
Mirroring the image of the pioneer of televangelism, Luce hosts weekly television shows and youth rallies, attracting tens of thousands of teens to large venues globally.
"God used one man to start this thing, if he can do this through one person, what can he do through me?"
