Mark Edward Grace, Tulsa’s 18th homicide in 2008. Died 6/22/2008 in the 1700 Block of. E. 67th St. Police say the 44-year-old victim was found stabbed to death in a driveway along E. 67th and Utica. Police believe the suspect is a teenager. Police believe there is another man and a woman who there at the time of the homicide. Witnesses told police they saw a silver Honda Civic with a rear stock fin spoiler.  

Tyrone Kelly, Tulsa’s 21st homicide in 2008. Died 7/05/2008 in the 11300 Block of E. 23rd Street. Police say the shooter knocked on a door at the Village East Apartments. Witnesses told police the two men argued over money and when the victim said he did not have the money that’s when the suspect shot Tyrone Kelly.  

Tajuan Davis and Teontae Ray, Tulsa’s 22nd and 23rd homicide in 2008. Died 7/09/2008 in the 2600 Block of. E. 41st Street North. Police say the two 18-year-old victims were found shot to death in the 90’s model Chevy Caprice. Court records show Davis aka “Hyphie” is a certified gang member of the Hoover Crips and Ray is self-proclaimed member of the 53rd Street Crips gang.  

Allen Chance Ring, Tulsa’s 29th homicide in 2008. Died 8/05/2008 in the 7100 Block of. S. Granite. Police say they found the 28-year-old victim had been shot multiple times at the Coppermill Apartments. He later died at a hospital. Police are looking for a tan Nissan Altima.  

Neal Richard Sweeney, Tulsa’s 34th homicide in 2008. Died 9/04/2008 in the 3100 Block of S. 108th E. Avenue. Tulsa police say the 63-year-old businessman and former University of Tulsa football player was shot in the head at his east Tulsa oil business. Police believe it could be a murder for hire. They are still investigating a white van that matches the description of the getaway van used in the murder.

Billy Wayne Alexander, Tulsa’s 40th homicide in 2008. Died 10/04/2008 in the 12900 Block of E. 35th Place. Police say the 25-year-old suspect was found shot to death at the Sawmill Apartment Complex. Police are looking fro a group of men who jumped into a white Chevrolet sedan and sped away from the scene.  

Billy Ray Ryder, Tulsa’s 41st homicide in 2008. Died 10/05/2008 in the 1200 Block of S. 73rd East Ave. Police say the victim was shot inside his apartment near 15th and Memorial and later died at the hospital. Police say two men busted into Ryder’s apartment and robbed him at gunpoint. Police say the suspects fled in a newer model silver Nissan Maxima or Altima. They’re described as 5’5 to 5’10, medium, build and wearing dark hoodies.  

Carlos Guitierrez, Tulsa’s 44th homicide in 2008. Died 10/24/2008 in the 3100 Block of. S. 108th East Ave. Police say the 56-year-old victim was found shot and killed near an East Tulsa restaurant. Police say outside the Florida Taqeria restaurant two men got into Gutierrez’ car and then shot him. Police say the suspect are described as slender men who are their 20’s and 30’s.  

Michael Ray Thomas, Tulsa’s 50th homicide in 2008. Died 11/23/2008 in the 7600 Block of S. St. Louis. Police say the 27-year-old victim was found dead in the middle of the street from gunshot wounds. Police say witnesses told them the victim was thrown from a vehicle after being shot.
