On Monday night, volunteers in the Salvation Army Joy Center wrapped up their work, but there are still 300 adopted angels with missing gifts.

Distribution is scheduled for Thursday morning; volunteers are now fulfilling those forgotten angels wishes from the stock of toys donated through area toy drives. Salvation Army official said the supply is dwindling, particularly in the age range of 9-12 year olds.

The Salvation Army is asking for toy donations at The Salvation Army Joy Center, 924 South Hudson, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Tuesday and Wednesday, Dec. 17 and 18.

Suggested toys include walkie talkies, footballs, remote control toys, arts and craft kits, electronic diaries, and simple digital cameras.

Another option is to text the word JOY to 85944 to make a one-time $10 donation to the Salvation Army Tulsa Area Command. This donation will be billed to the donor's mobile phone bill.
