A 21' high by 21' wide refinery vessel is moving through Sand Springs Thursday morning.

The moving firm will be approaching from the south and expects to arrive in the 51st Street and HWY 97 area around 10 a.m. They will proceed north across the river to Morrow Road, and then east on Morrow, north on Adams Road, and again east on Charles Page Boulevard to 81st West Avenue and out of the city limits.

This process should take about an hour or so.

The move will involve a couple of lane crossovers on HWY 97, as well as working through some of traffic signals. Skyfire Trucking will have a significant number of escort and service vehicles, and they have contracted with our PD and signal contractor resources for additional assistance.

The move will cause some traffic delays. Please be aware of this and plan accordingly.
