The Tulsa Region Red Cross is responding to the massive wildfires in northeastern Oklahoma continues.
Red Cross damage assessment teams are deployed today in Creek County. Tulsa Region Red Cross will be part of a news conference this afternoon at 2:30 at Lake Church in Mannford.
Last night, seven residents stayed in the Red Cross shelter in Sand Springs, one resident stayed in the Cushing shelter. Numbers are unavailable at this time for the Lexington shelter.
Red Cross shelters remain open in the following locations for families and individuals displaced by the grass fires:

The Red Cross has recorded more than 230 overnight stays in shelters since the disaster response began in Oklahoma, served
More than 1,900 meals and provided more than 11,500 snacks in this disaster response.
Nearly 150 Red Cross volunteers have deployed to provide relief to families across the state who have been affected by the fires.
Currently, the Red Cross is providing 2 on-site canteens, both in Creek County, for emergency responders.
Three multi-agency resource centers, where people can connect with organizations prepared to lend assistance, are open in Glencoe, Noble and Luther. As the response and recovery effort in Creek County continues, a multi-agency resource center will be opened to assist residents there. We will notify you of the location when the Creek County Center becomes operational.
