The City of Tulsa gave FOX23 a first look at the new Reconciliation Way signs that will go up in the Brady district.

The signs are the same size as the regular green street signs; these will sit on top of street signs and are blue.

In August, FOX23 reported that many wanted to rename Brady Street because it was named after Tate Brady. He is rumored to have had ties to the KKK.

The city council changed the name to MB Brady Street after a civil war photographer and gave the street the honorary title of Reconciliation Way.

The new signs will go up Monday.

I didn't realize the Emancipation Proclamation was also the Entitled-to-Everything-and-Future-Generations-Must-Provide-Reperations Proclamation. I must have skipped that chapter in my history book...
