Rain might help with drought

People in Green Country are hopeful this rain could help end the drought.

A lot of the rain has been a nuisance because of the mud it creates, but it does help us get out of these drought conditions.

The rain has been cold and steady which is the ideal rain to help with drought conditions. Which helps begin the process of filling back up ponds and lakes.

Even though we are still in the midst of a drought, there have been signs of improvement.

As we get more information, we will keep you updated here on FOX23.com

"Rain might help with drought". Odd, seems if anything, it would hurt the drought.
