A prominent Pryor couple killed in a small plane crash was laid to rest Saturday.

FOX23 has been following the story since Monday.

Ivan and Adina Williams were flying to the Claremore Airport after a trip to Alabama when their plane crashed in northwest Arkansas.

The impact the Williams couple had on people shone brightly Saturday afternoon. Friends and family filled the Burdick Center in Pryor to celebrate their lives.

Whether it was Ivan's grace or Adina's beauty, one thing is certain, the Williams couple understood how to love.

"He took the short end of the stick so everyone else could get the long," Ivan's son said.

"Her friends say the best thing she had to offer was not the beauty on the outside but the beauty from deep within," the Rev. Rob Harris added about Adina.

Saturday, people from all over the state came to the Burdick Center.

"They did so many things behind the scenes that nobody ever knew about," Dr. Larry Rice, a close friend told FOX23.

Those in attendance laughed, cried, and remembered two lives well-lived.

''I've been trying to rack my brain thinking how I'm going to make it without my mom," another son said.

The speakers at Saturday's ceremony made it clear, Ivan and Adina loved God, their family, the community, and each other.

"They always had a hand in hand with each other," Rev. Harris said. "They smiled at each other."

The slideshow the family put together displayed that affection.

The Williams couple were examples to all and will be missed by many.

"They were just a loving wonderful giving couple," Dr. Rice said. "The world would be a better place if we had more Ivan and Adinas."
