I live 50 miles from Houston and my gas bill runs around a $1000.00 a month. People cannot just move closer to work or buy a more economical car everytime the price of gas goes up.If we would have kept our oil rigs in the gulf up and running we would not be having the problem we are having write now with high oil prices. Our government says that the oil in Saudi is more refined than the oil in the gulf.So it costs less to make it, give me a brake. I had rather spend more money for my gas if it puts the american people back to work. When are we as taxpayers finally going to say enough is a enough. If we do not make a stand on this nothing will ever change. When gas goes up it affects everything. As an american we need to take back control over what happens here in very own back yard. I will stand along side anyone willing to make a stand for whats right. As a nation we are going to be another thid world country because our government is taking us down the gutter without a life line. We all stand by and say things will get better and the price of gas will go down. That is probably true, but it will never go back down as low as it was. Because the government knows that if gas goes to $6.00 a gallion and it finally comes back down to $4.00 a gallion people will be satisfied for awhile.

Yes, you are entirely right Frog. Greed is destroying this country. Will you ever change that? NO! The American Dream is gone, that is unless you are a ILLEGAL ALIEN. The greed of the employer who chooses to employ approximately 20 million minimum wage ILLEGALS, thus forcing others to either work for lower wages, no benefits, or to be unemployed. The greed of those in corporate positions who would steal from their stockholders. The greed of those in public office who choose to live, and spend, like kings and queens, at the expense, and with no regard, for those who have to pay the bill. The greed of those who would rather live off government welfare and social programs than work. YES INDEED, greed is indeed destroying the American Dream, and this country. I remind you, "The LOVE of money is the root of all evil". I do agree with your request for wisdom for Obama. It certainly appears evident, from the shape this country is in, that wisdom is lacking, and much needed. Yes, Obama promised, and was elected, based on the buzz word "change." HUMM, those gas prices certainly changed. A PLAN sounds good, but when can we expect implementation of that plan?

Yes its sad to know that its been allowed so long for the rich to get richer of the poor, and bairly getting by, and to know that we have enough fuel / oil to last us in the USA at present consumtion for 2,000 pluss years. And hmmm their capped off and some people getting paid up to 4,ooo dollars a month to keep them capped, on their property. USA the only country printing Money, and we are in Debt and Paing out rageous fuel prices, The American Dream will compleatle faid if Gas and Desiel price dont go back down, at 40 dollars a barrel, fuels should be back to .98 cents to 1.13 a gallon. As a Believer of God, I know what time is at hand but . IT IS GREED THAT HAS BROUGHT THIS ON. God knows , and I pray for wisdom in this fight Obama is trying to bring these cost down, all your goods at store will go down in price, kids supplies prices will go down, Truckers are paying sometime 1 dollar a mile in fuel just to get ur stuff to the DC then to ur local store. Please pray for oneanother and wisdom for President Obama. JLB..aka Frog
