With snow possibly headed towards Green County, it's important to be prepared ahead of the storm.

According to a recent study by State Farm and KRC Research, only 9% of drivers carried all the essential emergency roadside supplies.

Here's a check list of supplies State Farm suggests you have in your vehicle before driving  in a storm:

·  Jumper cables

·  Spare tire

·  Hazard triangle/road flares

·  Flashlight

·  First aid kit

·  Water

·  Blanket

If you do ever find yourself in trouble, the best thing is to pull over and call 911. Also, don't leave your vehicle. That way it will be easier for first responders to find you.
