A burglary victim is arrested after police find drugs.

Richard Alan Stiger, 53, was taken into custody Wednesday afternoon.

Officers were called to Stiger's east Tulsa home at 1:15 p.m. on a burglary in progress. When they arrived they saw the front door had been kicked in.

During a search of the home officers found marijuana growing inside a closet. The report states Stiger signed a search wavier allowing officers to enter and look through his home. Stiger was booked into the Tulsa County Jail for cultivation of marijuana.

No word if anything was taken from Stiger's home or if the suspected burglar was caught.

What a horrid legal system. The guy isn't hurting anyone, and was just burglarized. Arrest the burglar.

LOL guess his memory was bad from smoking pot and he didn't remember the plants were in the closet....probably the reason he was burgularized in the first place, had drugs and someone close to him knew and broke in to steal them, he made one mistake already so I am pretty sure if his dope was the only thing stolen he wouldn't tell the police that....or maybe he would, he signed a waiver to allow them to go into his home with a crop of pot growing in a closet....
