Possible suspects in custody for Tahlequah double homicide

An official with the Tahlequah Police Department says a Muskogee couple booked on complaints of a brutal stabbing may be persons of interest in a double-homicide investigation in Tahlequah.

Creek County Jail confirmed Jessie Leppke and Tracy Redford were both booked on charges of aggravated assault and battery with a deadly weapon.

Tahlequah Police and the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation are investigating a double homicide that happened Wednesday. Family members of the victim’s said police discovered the bodies of 48-year-old Angela Finley and 64-year-old Jassie Catron in a house, investigators say the victims suffered significant trauma.

Leppke and Redford are both being held on $75,000 bond.
