The Wagoner County Sheriff's Office arrested a man they said made threats against members of the Porter City Council.
The threats came after the council voted to fire the Porter police chief. The Sheriff's Office said they became aware of the threats on Dec. 3.
The threats appeared on an unofficial Porter City Facebook page, and included vandalism and the burning of council member's homes.
Investigators made contact with the alleged poster, 24-year old Jarrett Daniel Stallings of Pryor. Stallings grew up in Porter and still has family living there.
The information was turned over to the district attorney's office and an arrest warrant was issued for using an electronic device to threaten or harass.
On Dec. 9 Wagoner County Sheriff investigators traveled to Pryor and with the assistance of the Pryor Police Department took Stallings into custody.
The Sheriff's Office expects to make further arrests in this case.
