The owners flipped the sign to say closed and locked the door one last time Saturday night.

Pop-up shop owner Lisa Holt wiped away the word "Don't" so the sign outside read "miss Okie Dirt."

She said, "You know, I wouldn't have given up this experience for anything."

Her husband packed away what inventory they had left Saturday night.

Holt said, "Because it let us know really what's the next best step for us."

Holt showed FOX23 photos of how she and her husband operate their business, Okie Dirt. They turn white shirts into orange shirts by using Oklahoma red dirt.

"We set up a 10-by-10 tent and work at events," Holt said.

This holiday season, she and her husband decided to set up inside a storefront in Broken Arrow's Rose District.

"We just wanted to be part of the community, close to home and that's why we tried downtown Broken Arrow," Holt told FOX23.

With the holiday season wrapping up, the Holts spent Saturday boxing up the rest of the store.

She said, "But all in all, sales were great."

Sales were so great that the Holts told FOX23 they've decided making a permanent move wasn't the best next step for their business.

Holt said they've decided they didn't want to give up traveling to festivals.

She added, "And also the commitment of time for full-time retail is huge."

FOX23 learned the trial run at the storefront did encourage the couple to find a studio for a smaller shop.

We found out that will be in Broken Arrow, just not in the Rose District.

They told us their new studio is expected to be open in February 2014 at 61st street and 145th Street on Concord.
