Tulsa police have tentatively identified a body found near a Tulsa high school on Wednesday.

Police say the body may be 35-year old Terrence Monroe Washington.  An ID card was found on the body.  Police say a city worker cutting grass found a body near a Tulsa high school.

It was found near McLain School for Science and Technology in the 4900 block of North Peoria. It is unclear how long the body has been there.

Police are not ruling out foul play at this point. The cause of death has not been determined yet.

Police want to talk to anyone who may have been in contact with Washington recently. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS or text TIP918 to CRIMES (274637).

Perhaps more city interest in cutting back brush and weeds would be helpful?
