Police: searching for hit and run driver after pedestrian killed

Police said they are searching for a dark colored Chevy with front end damage after a pedestrian was hit and killed Sunday night.

Police reopened 31st Street in East Tulsa near S. 124th E around 11:30 p.m.

Police had blocked off a section of 31st street since about 7:45 Sunday night while they gathered evidence.

They said a young man in his 20s was crossing 31st near Garnett when a vehicle traveling west bound hit him and dragged him about 50 to 100 feet.

We’ve learned police are still looking for the driver.

They said they are looking for a dark colored Chevy that left the scene heading toward Garnett on 31st Street.

FOX23 learned there was no identification on the victim. Police said they are working to identify the victim.

so sorry for this person.... but I guess you have to be killed before Tulsa PD will do anything...otherwise they take no police report, give fake police report numbers and don't give victim the insurance info of driver who hits pedestrian, leaving victim with thousands of dollars in hospital bills.
