Broken Arrow Police say they continue to search for a man who attempted to steal an unmarked police car Thursday night around 8:00.

Police say the suspect is believed to be about 19 years old wearing a cut off blue tee-shirt and blue jeans with a little bit of facial hair. They say he was last scene fleeing on foot in the area near 101st Street and Garnett Road.

Police say they caught an accomplice of the man, but continue to work with Tulsa police to find the other suspect. They do not believe the man is armed, but they are telling people to use caution until the suspect is in police custody.

If you have any information on his whereabouts, please call 911.

Reckon what gave this genius the overwhelming desire to steal a police car?Not like he would of gotten to far with it.

It was actually a 12-year-old neighbor, and the officer's story was blowing smoke. So much for the theory that having a police car in the neighborhood makes it a safer place.
