Police pursuit puts 3 Tulsa schools on lockdown

Three Tulsa Public Schools were placed on lockdown on Monday afternoon while police pursued a stolen vehicle in the area near the schools. 

Carver Middle School, Emerson Elementary School, and Burroughs Elementary School were placed on 'Code Yellow' while police pursued the vehicle.

The pursuit ended at Carver and three people were arrested.  FOX23 will update this as the situation develops.

I monitored this event on the scanner. They had one on the run with an orange vest. Interesting to listen to. It's good that they put the schools on alert. One of these desperate out of control teens might try to do something involving a school as they pass by. They probably had at least five or so passengers that littered the hood as they bailed out of the car hiding and running. Probably a stolen car. Dump it and bail. Get some of these square headed idiots into bull riding. Bronco busting. Give em some real excitement that they can walk away from. Not some excitement that they have to run away from. GTA.
