In light of the bombing at the Boston Marathon, Tulsa police will be providing extra security measures at three runs scheduled for Tulsa on Saturday.

The Color Run at Veteran’s Park, the Pink Run at ORU and the Heart Walk Downtown. Police say runners won’t notice the presence, but the bomb squad and K9 officers will do a full sweep of the race routes.

Police are asking all participants to be vigilant and report anything suspicious.
