Tulsa police are searching for a teenager who they say robbed a local coffee store and sexually assaulted one of the employees around noon Tueday at the Agora Coffee house at the Fontana Shopping Center near 51st and Memorial streets.
Detectives told FOX23 that a young man around 16 or 17 walked into the store and went to use the bathroom.
Officers said the teen left the store and came back 30 minutes later with a silver pistol in his hand. After robbing the coffee house, he forced the two female employees into the back and put them into separate rooms. He then held a gun to one of their heads and forced her to perform a sexual act on him.
Police said he then left the store. Officers searched nearby neighborhoods and talked with business owners in the area to see if anyone has surveillance video of the teen.
Customers said they can't believe this happened.
"I'm going to be looking more around me to see what's going on before I get out of my car. It makes you want to have someone with you all the time. You know just go in twos or more," said customer Caroline Arnold.
Police said the teen was wearing a gray hoodie and black pants with a beanie hat. He's around 5 feet 9 inches and 145 pounds.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS.
