Police investigating armed robbery

Tulsa police are investigating an armed robbery at a Fiesta Mart in east Tulsa.

Police said a man walked up to the night clerk while he was outside the store around 2:15 a.m. The store is near 21st and Sheridan.

The night clerk told police he was sitting outside on a car when a man walked up to him. They exchanged words and then the man ran down 67th E. Ave. and fired a shot at the clerk as he ran away.

The clerk was not hurt. One shell casing was found at the scene. Police want anyone with information call Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS.
