Tulsa police were called to the scene of two separate stabbing incidents early Sunday morning. The first incident happened around 1:30 a.m. near 51st Street, in between Skelly drive and Utica avenue. Police responded to a domestic dispute in progress, but when they arrived they found a 61-year-old black male with a slash on his chest and wound to his bicep. Police arrested the victim's girlfriend, Raymona Ferguson, a 49-year-old black female.
Ferguson was booked on assault and battery with a deadly weapon. Her bond is set at $15,000.
The second incident happened around 2:00 a.m. Police were called to domestic dispute in progress at the Arbors Apartments near 67th and Lewis. Police found a man stabbed and spoke with the woman present, his fiance. The woman, 27-year-old Larhonda Brown, said she stabbed the man in defense for her life because he was beating her with a gun and shot at her in the house. Police found discrepancies in her statement because Brown sustained no injuries and there was no evidence of a gun being shot in the house.
Police arrested Brown on assault and battery with a deadly weapon. Her bond is also set at $15,000.
