Police could have cleaned meth lab sooner

A good samaritan reported to police a dumped out meth lab in a Broken Arrow creek but it took officers three days to remove it.

I ain't gonna put it on my Post Toasties,seen what it's made out of and don't wanna be near it,better left to the pros,don't know what kinda inbred would put this in their body

There is lots of money in "approved cleanup" companies that also do inspections. They do an inspection and decide you need a cleanup. Some communities have laws saying ONLY specialty companies can do cleanup, and the town and/or PD gets a kickback from the outrageous fees they charge.

It's not plutonium, or Ebola. These are the same chemicals you have under your kitchen sink, and if you use a little common sense (as well as a facemask and gloves) you are ok. Never handle an active container though (where the chemicals are still cooking).

People please quit acting like finding a plastic bottle with a tiny bit of chemical residue in it is a life-threatening situation. You can find more dangerous substances in any grocery store.
