Tulsa police identified two men arrested for multiple robberies on Tuesday morning.

Police said Juan Cox and 17-year old Travon Williams went around downtown Tulsa Tuesday morning and robbed several people; one victim was shot in the leg.

From bicycles, to wallets and even demanding shoes and socks, Tulsa police said these robbers were after anything they could get their hands on.

FOX23 was there as one of the men was being taken in to be questioned. His arm was bandaged because police said he was bitten by the K9 officer who found him hiding in a backyard.

"It was very intense there for a moment," said neighbor Tim Christ, who watched from his front porch.

"I thought it was horrible what they were doing and I'm glad TPD was on top of it and got the guys arrested," he said.

Officers said it started near Archer and Tacoma when two men approached a man riding a bicycle on the sidewalk and demanded his bike, wallet and cellphone.

Not long after, police found a second man walking near the OSU Medical Center Downtown. He told police he had been shot a few times while getting robbed.

The third robbery happened a few blocks from the first, near Vancouver and Admiral.

"I don't know if they came up with a rouse to talk to people, but they were just coming up and demanding their belongings," said Sgt. Justin Farley with Tulsa Police Department.

Police said the robbers got away with two bikes and anything else they could carry, leaving neighbors concerned.

"It's very disturbing there's people going around shooting people just to rob them, it's just not right," said Christ.

Police said all of the stolen items have been found.

Police urged people never to put up a fight if approached by a robber and to hand over whatever they want, because it's not worth your life.
