Police arrest two after overnight chase

Two people are in custody after a car chase overnight on Monday.
Police say around 3 a.m. an officer ran the tags on a vehicle near 41st and 169 and discovered the car had been stolen. Police say the driver tried to pull the car over the driver took off on the highway.
Police followed and eventually popped the vehicle’s tires near south 209th and Omaha in Broken Arrow. Police say two people jumped out of the car and ran, but were quickly caught.
Police say the suspects face charges of possession of a stolen vehicle and eluding police.
