Tulsa police sex crimes detectives say they've arrested a possible serial rapist connected to at least three attacks in the Tulsa area.

Police arrested Michael Harris in late January, saying he assaulted a 17-year-old girl near 72nd E. Ave. & Admiral Place on Jan. 27.  Police said Harris was riding his bike in the area, and stopped a girl who was walking nearby.  Detectives say he pulled the girl behind a business and attacked her.

Since his January arrest, police say they've tied Harris to two other attacks on women, one near 3rd & Utica and another near 33rd & Mingo.  The assaults date back to November. Harris is a registered sex offender in Texas but detectives say he never registered when he moved to Oklahoma.

As detectives worked the case, they discovered Harris drove a red Jeep.  Detectives were able to connect that red Jeep to the unsolved rape cases.

Detectives have notified authorities in Texas, Colorado and North Carolina where Harris has previously lived, to see if there are any open rape cases.  Authorities were also notified in Inola and Catoosa, where Harris has lived as well.

Police are still working this case; there may be other potential victims.  If you have any information call (918) 596-9133 or email detectives.

Always makes me wonder when the cops have that much information but still the sick perv was out there on our streets, too bad he didn't resist so they had to put a bullet between his eyes, would have saved a lot of girls and women.

This just disgust me and plus I live near 72 and admiral. I would kill this sorry excuse of a life if he touched my daughters. I hope he is raped and killed in prison.
