Around 9 p.m. Saturday night, police were called to the Town Pump bar, 1923 S. Utica Ave. on a possible auto-pedestrian accident.
When officers arrived, they saw the suspect, Timothy Beal, outside the bar with his girlfriend. Officers also saw two white males lying on the ground, clearly injured.
Witnesses at the scene told officers Timothy Beal was causing problems with "all patrons" at the bar but singled out two white males, the victims. Witnesses stated Beal was asked to leave the bar twice due to the confrontations and rowdiness of his actions towards others.
Beal left the bar once, but came back. The second time he left, the two white males he had previous singled out in the bar came to front porch of the bar to talk.
When the two white males turned around, they saw a silver Chevy Impala coming right for them with no anticipation of stopping. The two men were struck by the car as it plowed into the Town Pump bar.
All witnesses statements are consistent that Timothy Beal was driving the Impala at the time of the accident. The two victims were transported to the hospital.
According to the police report, as Beal was being booked into jail he showed no remorse of the incident, saying, "I accelerated toward them, I should have ran his head over with my tire."
Beal was intoxicated during the incident and police are waiting on the lab results.
Beal is being held in the Tulsa County Jail on two counts of assault with a deadly weapon. His bond is set at $50,000.
