Police say a man drove his vehicle into a Mounds pharmacy and took off with pain medication.
He hit the Apothecary Pharmacy on Commercial Drive in Mounds Oklahoma.
The surveillance video shows a car approaching the store, and ramming in the front door.
The man who was inside jumped the counter and entered the pharmacy area.
The robber looked for a few minutes and after about three minutes in the store, he left.
The pharmacy's manager preferred not to talk on camera, but says this is not the first time they have been robbed so they now keep all their high-demand drugs in a safe.
Neighbors across the street from the pharmacy say they didn't hear anything.
“We didn't (hear it). We slept in this morning," says Nina Linnet.
Linnet says having this happen so close to home worries them.
“I think it's happened before and I'm always worried about the ladies working there, too," she said.
A similar crime took place in Glenpool right before Christmas.
In both cases, the cars were stolen from Kiefer, the robber was in and out in a short period, and they were after the same drugs, police said.
FOX23 spoke with Police Chief Tim McDaniel and he thinks the two crimes might be linked
"I think it is. The MO is identical, both vehicles were stolen, and both left on the scene running, so I think it will be linked," said McDaniel.
The robber in the video is masked and wearing Nike tennis shoes.
