Tulsa police are searching for a group of men who robbed two south Tulsa convenience stores early Friday morning.
Police say three men came into the Kum & Go at 145th E. Ave. and 41st Street, forced the clerk to open the register, and pistol-whipped him. The clerk eventually ran out of the store to a house across the street to call for help.
About half an hour later, police were called to another armed robbery, at another Kum & Go at 71st and Garnett. They again pistol-whipped the clerk, and got away with some cash.
The robbers' faces were covered, so police don't have much of a description to go on, except for the car they were driving, which is described as a silver Mercury Grand Marquis.
Anyone with information on the case is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS.
